Raymond F. "Ray" Jenkins, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born on August 25, 1932, in Madison, Indiana, to the late Orba and Goldie (Cogner) Jenkins. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War earning the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the Korean Service Ribbon. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver for the City of Fort Wayne for 38 years. He enjoyed camping and working with cars and trucks. Raymond F. "Ray" Jenkins, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born on August 25, 1932, in Madison, Indiana, to the late Orba and Goldie (Cogner) Jenkins. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War earning the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the Korean Service Ribbon. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver for the City of Fort Wayne for 38 years. He enjoyed camping and working with cars and trucks. Surviving family include his children, Pat (Joe) Johnson and Rick (Debi) Jenkins; grandchildren, Joey (Wendy), Jason, Chris, Tanner, Danny, Steven, Kathleen (Josh), Christina (Michael), Kayla, Bryanna (Kyle); grandchildren, Dakota, Zaiden, Greyson, Audis, Aiden, Ava, Evalynn, and Jessigha; and many generations of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Delores Jenkins, and daughter, Kathleen Hatton. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation starting at 11:00am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.

A potluck fellowship dinner will follow the services at the 3rd Street Church of Good, 427 3rd St., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 beginning at 4:00 pm. (Food may be dropped of at the church between 9:00 - 12:00 pm or brought with you when you arrive.)
